K9 Molly
Explosives/Firearms Detection
K9 Molly was adopted by a pair of women looking for a couch potato to snuggle with from LaSPCA in early 2025. When they brought her home, her new parents realized that Molly was anything but lazy. She figured out how to open cabinets, she tore up the yard hunting for lizards, and couldn't sit still to save her life. After meeting Molly and her parents, we thought she might be an excellent candidate for our program. After mulling it over, Molly's parents decided that she deserved a life of fulfillment instead of trying to push her to be a dog that she just couldn't be. Molly has shown incredible promise through our program, and once certified will make an excellent asset to any department.

K9 LUPA
Narcotics Detection
K9 Lupa was purchased from a breeder in Tennessee by two school teachers hoping for a snuggly lab to call their loving pet. Lupa was anything but a snuggly pet. With endless energy, natural hunt drive, and incredible problem solving skills, Lupa spent her first 11 months of life at daycare and boarding because her owners simply couldn't keep up with her needs. After weighing their options, her owners decided that, just before her first birthday, she deserved to serve a greater purpose and have the fulfillment that comes with being a working canine. Snout Scouts got in touch and when we met her, we couldn't take her on fast enough. She truly blew us out of the water and we can't wait to see what her next stage in life holds.
